Land Rover made its debut in 1948. It was designed with brilliant simplicity for extraordinary ability and unrivalled strength and durability.
The task
The Land Rover brand has grown globally in recent years prompting the need for a tighter visual identity system across a variety of media. I worked with the Land Rover team at Imagination overseeing the management and production of a set of guidelines for online, social media, advertsing, TV end frames and literature. Design principles were created and tested to ensure the consistent implementation of the brand.
Outcome
Since 2013, Land Rover’s sales have outperformed the industry sector, growing over 9% year on year. They’ve now tripled volume, doubled market share, doubled revenue and increased profit margin.
